Instructor:Giselle Baturay

Giselle began her babywearing journey in 2005 with the birth of her first child. She continued babywearing her second and now third child and has enjoyed every minute of it. Giselle started DuPage Slingers, an active babywearing group in the Chicago area, in 2006. And after moving to Southern California in 2009, she became co-leader of OC Babywearers, a large Babywearing group in Orange County, CA. She is also an active member of the online babywearing community and is honored to be part of The Babywearer(TBW), where she volunteers as a forum moderator and participates as a babywearing advocate and enthusiast. After years of being actively involved in the babywearing community, Giselle opened Slings I Love in January 2009 as a way of providing to others the baby carriers she and so many love. In particular, Giselle has a passion for woven wraps, which started in 2005 when she made a homemade wrap with fabric from her local fabric store. Her passion for woven wraps also led to becoming owner of Piece of Cloth, which specializes in woven wraps. Giselle resides in Costa Mesa, CA with her husband and three children.
